Greene County Medical Center Foundation, Auxiliary name scholarship recipients

Eight recipients have been awarded a total of $9,000 through nine scholarships from the Greene County Medical Center Foundation and Auxiliary. The Foundation presented $1,000 to each of six applicants and the Auxiliary $1,000 to three.

“We are proud to be able to support our area students who are pursuing careers in healthcare-related fields,” said Greene County Medical Center Foundation director Nancy Houska. “Not only does this benefit our students now, but it supports their future successes and gives us the opportunity to continue supporting our entire healthcare system. We also benefit when these students bring their skills and talents back home to care for friends and family. Congratulations to all of our recipients.”

“Each year we continue to hold events and fundraisers in support of Greene County Medical Center,” explained Auxiliary president Sue Rieder. “Our team members are the backbone of our healthcare organization and responsible for the excellent care provided to all in our region.
